Is it normal to exercise when depresed

Whenever I get dumped I fall into a depressed state I'm not old for it to be normal but i get dumped and I all of a sudden eat healthy excersise and all this good stuff but only for a short while and I dnt no why

    Well that's a lot better than eating when you're depressed. Just make sure you are only doing what's within your comfort zone. Don't push yourself thinking it will help your worries go away - you do not want to hurt yourself

    Ya! When I'm mad, or had a bad day I just run, I don't even like running! But once I start it's hard for me to stop, it feels like all the anger is releasing (:

    What a better way to get over a break up and a depressive mood than by excercise. Excercise actually has an affect on the chemicals in your brain that improve your mood. You are one smart cookie and didn't even know it. Bravo!

    Working out is great for depression. I'm the total opposite though, I can't be bothered to do any thing when I'm down.

    Physical pain of working out makes the emotional pain for me go away at least some what and eating health makes it so I can work out harder.

    I workout all the time, it distracts me from my problems and it keeps me healthy and good looking for the ladies ;D
