Is it normal to examine your poop?

I don't know if it's normal or not, but I want you to know that you are not alone. I do it too.

It's important for your own health that you do this. Some countries have toilets that leave the stuff on a little ledge for better examination before flushing.

I also heard someone was developing a toilet that does some analysis each time you go and, whenever it spots anything odd such as the presence of blood, sends an email to your doctor.

It's normal. I mean, after all, it JUST came out of you... Why not know what it looks like? Besides, if you're sick or not eating properly, looking at the poop in the toilet before flushing can often times tell you. It may be a bit gross to stare at poo, but it's normal.

I do it too. I like make sure my body is digesting stuff normally.

You can tell whether you've been eating well or not by the color and texture of your poo. It's not a bad idea to check it from time to time.

Look up the Bristol Stool Scale.

I think so regardless how difficult/easy to pass it through. You got to make sure it's full brown and not green,red or gray.
