We known each other for months now and practically fall asleep on the phone texting each other. Yes there is serious chemistry we've both agreed to. And we kinda having an affair but I think I can safely say I'm obsessed with her.
Now I want her full time and permanently.

      This. Recovering drug addict? Proud of her, hope she keeps it up.

      I can understand worrying about the weed, but if that's all she's doing and can keep it from controlling her life... just something to watch out for since she already has that addictive personality. I have heard of smoking weed helping addicts of harder things though.

      As for the other shit, everyone's got issues and what's wrong with being bisexual or working at a strip club if that's what you enjoy?

    If you doubt she'll make a good life partner, you should reconsider. Your feelings aren't magical, so you should pay attention to what your head is telling you. If you think she can be a good girlfriend, go for it. It's your call.

    Recovering drug addict doesn't bother me so much as throwing bipolar in there. The marijuana is the self-medicating aspect of bipolar (along with the other former drugs). From experience with bipolar people and marijuana, it doesn't work. Marijuana in itself isn't bad but it's not a prescription for bipolar. Not liking the affair bit either.

    No matter how weird this girl might seem on paper, I think that chemistry between two people is far more poweful than this.

    If you feel like you can handle or even moderate her behaviour you should definately give it a try.

    However, you mentioned the word "affair" in your post, which leads me to believe that you are actually currently in a relationship.

    In that case I would personally not continue what you and this girl are starting to develop. Just see it as a compliment that she would want to be with you, because I cannot imagine that (perhaps not considering appearance and casual sex) your current woman would not be able to make you as happy as this girl can.

    As someone with bipolar disorder, I will tell you that the condition itself will do a great deal complicating the relationship, more so than the other characteristics you've listed. Why do you have a problem with her smoking pot?
