Is it normal to enjoy watching the adverts?

Every time I watch TV it's usually on a channel with adverts (so not BBC or anything like that) and I find the actual adverts more interesting to watch than the TV show. On some adverts I actually get my computer out and go on the website to check it out further, is this normal or weird?

    Seriously weird! You must be watching REALLY bad tv shows if the ads are preferable.

    I very very rarely watch commercial tv because I can't stand the ads

    Can't stand them, I don't watch much live tv anymore usually on Netflix, even if I am watching something on the virgin media box it'll be recorded and I fast forward through them.
    The very occasional time i'm watching actual tv after the first ad break when all the ad's just repeat my eyes glaze over and I think about something else
