just dont ever eat raw pork, or even when cooked rare.
Bacon isnt as bad, as Terranaut mentions, its cured, but uncured, raw pork can be deadly. uncooked beef is less dangerous if handled properly, but still not recommended.
Bacon is smoked and cured, which will greatly reduce your chances of getting sick, but not totally eliminate them.
Trichinosis will get you, not the tapeworms. Worst death ever. You get eaten from the inside. Look it up.
Well I've heard that in west Europe uncooked meat is actually delicious. One of my teachers, who's middle eastern, says that he loves to eat uncooked lamb. It's an acquired taste but I'd say it's normal.
I thought you said you ate it raw.. Or do you mean the microwavable ones?
You should be getting sick from doing this, trichinosis can be found in uncooked bacon I think.
I may be wrong, but bacon still tastes better when its cooked.
I like that, too...But I stopped doing it because I figured it was unsanitary.
