Is it normal to eat fish and milk same time
I drink chocolate milk with my tacos wich made everyone at work uncomfortable. So I gotcha. I say go for it.
Every single school I went to growing up served milk with every lunch. It was like: Fish sandwich? Have some milk. Tacos? Here's some milk. Cheeseburgers? We have milk. Grilled cheese? MIIIIILLLK!
I always thought milk was a normal thing to drink with everything because of it. I still drink milk with almost everything. XD
I grew up drinking huge quantities of milk. My parents never bought carbonated soft-drinks, so my childhood beverage options were water (from the faucet, not a bottle), reconstituted frozen orange juice or milk. I topped out at 6'4", and while I'm sure that's mainly due to genes, I'm sure the milk helped too. I've never had a broken bone in my life, and I have wondered if the milk might have played some part in that, too.
I saw a thing that was like all the nutrients we get from milk are almost inconsequential. It went on to talk about how there's so much hype to drink milk for strong healthy bones but we get very little calcium out of milk
Well, there are always contrarians who take joy in shooting down the commonly accepted wisdom. Sometimes they're right, and sometimes they just enjoy feeling superior.
These days, there are loads of vegans who bristle at any suggestion that their chosen diet doesn't contain absolutely everything they need for good nutrition, and then there are the animal-rights people who make (actually pretty valid) points about the harsh realities of the industry that's behind the pristine white stuff in the sanitary cartons sitting on the chilled shelf in your local supermarket.
A cup of milk contains something like 20% of the adult recommended daily intake of calcium, and it also contains phosphorus and magnesium which are necessary for bone formation. Dairy definitely isn't the only possible source of those minerals, but it's not complete BS that milk is good for bone health. As a kid, I detested green, leafy vegetables - another good source of calcium - and I definitely would never have considered eating the types of fish where you eat the bones, so I'm sure my calcium intake would have been pretty low if I hadn't drunk a lot of milk.
Ugh.. was it in those little cartons that made the milk taste like cardboard?
When I was a kid I got this special Ovaltine decoder ring and you had to listen to the radio to get the first message. I was so excited for it but it turned out to be an advertisement! "Make sure to drink your ovaltine" what a load of hooey
I'm sure it says somewhere in Leviticus that drinking milk while eating fish is an abomination in the eyes of Jehovah.
Enjoy your milky-fish now, bro, because all you'll have is memories and regrets while you burn in Hell for eternity.
The basis of my fish pie sauce is milk. It's delicious. Although that's a bit different to drinking plain milk while eating fish...
i mean i don't think it's the best tasting combo but there's nothing wrong with it
That made me visualise a kid realising that fact as he's eating Thanksgiving dinner with his family, his vomit reflex being triggered, and projectile hurling all over the marshmallow-topped sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie and cousin Billy sitting opposite him.
As a matter of fact I discovered it as a youngster while eating Thanksgiving dinner. I immediately told my brother "Hey, try this, get a mouthful of cranberry sauce now drink some milk.".
There was no hurling but he was in agreement that it tastes like vomit. Never did that again.
I'm starved for some good sushi. I really miss the abundance of Nigiri sushi out on the West Coast! 😕 The last fish I ate was the day after my birthday I had some leftover pizza with anchovies on it. 😔
I don't eat fish because I was tricked into eating salmon that made me puke and I stopped drinking milk as a conscious decision a while back
So all of that is pretty not normal for me
you don't eat milk you drink it. Unless you meant that you cook your fish in milk. Then if that is what you mean, I just puked.
