Is it normal to eat 270 calories a day?

I try too keep my calorie intake under 400..is that normal?

    No stop harming your body it's a living sys tem that needs nourishment and starving yourself depriving it of essentials can cause irreversible effects. You must always be hungry and lack in energy poor baby :-(

    No it's not normal unless you are trying to commit suicide slowly. I've read that after a while on a drastically low calorie diet the brain doesn't function properly any more, to the extent that people literally starve to death, permanently damaging body organs in the process.

    Please please find someone who specialises in anorexia nervosa and get some help

    Um...I think you know the answer to this question. Unless you are Kate Moss and I think most of her calories come from laxatives anyway.

    I wish I could consume that much....

    I don't consume anything over 200 calories so, I know I'm probably not getting the "recommended intake". Drink some vitamin water, to get your vitamins.

    I don't know how you're doing it. Either you are eating fruit & veg or you only eat one meal a day.

    If you drop your calorie intake by more than 1000 calories a day your body slows the metabolism so you end up gaining weight off eating less.

    If you eat <400 calories a day you should more or less be dead by now, no it's not normal and are you sure you're not counting your calories incorrectly that is AWFULLY low.
