Is it normal to drink like this?

I suppose this isn't too odd, but whenever I drink any sort of beverage I ''swirl'' it around my mouth before swallowing it and it makes a really obnoxious noise. I've been doing it since I was really young and i'm just wondering if anybody else does this or if you've seen it before? I do it because I can't really taste it otherwise If I just swallow it right away.

    Sometimes I like to do that to keep my teeth clean and to rid of food particles.

    If that's how you like to drink, more power to ya. However, if it makes an obnoxious sound, make sure to consider those around you.
