Is it normal to dress down so men won't stare at you?

I don't know why but I feel uncomfortable when men stare at me. I often dress sloppy or in oversized clothing with minimal makeup so men won't stare at me.

I'm straight and am attracted to guys. But the weird thing is I just don't like being stared at. Unless it's totally normal to feel this way. But I do know some girls (namely friends that I've talked with) that actually like guys staring at them.

But my question is, is it weird to go so far to dress down so men won't stare?

    So dress beautifully; not so Taliban nor so slutty and revealing.

    I'm a 100% straight female and like men but ugh I hate it when guys stare at me. I like to look nice and where make up and everything but I agree that getting attention from guys all the time makes me uncomfortable.

    I get stares alllllllll the damn time from nasty perverted men and hatin' ass women or gay ones...I feel your pain here because it is rather annoying getting stared down like meat..I have thought about dressing like a dude just so guys will not stare at me..I've done it before and does it work for me???deff..but on the other hand, girls will stare and think I'm a pretty boy lol so either way its a catch 22 :/ but just ignore it hun..If they say something, they're crossing the line..I've had many guys that come up to me and being bold, ask me questions so I tell them I'm underage or I'm gay lol and they get the hint and walk away

    I know how you feel. I dress attractively for me, and I don't mind being complimented, but as a result I usually only get sexual attention from men and suddenly feel like I'm being judged by everybody.

    in the long run, conservative is generally better. I don't want to draw attention to myself.

    your most valuable asset has a woman is your beauty, so you should get over with being insecure.. most women lose their beauty before 30 anyway ~ and then you'll feel big regret that you diddnt find a wonderful husband and life ... after 30 you will get the bottom the barel , the slime and scum thats all thats left ... most women put the majority of their energys into looks, and enjoy the attention and power they get over men .... dont squander what god gave you ,, beauty is for a reason , just like brains ... if you dont use it then its wasted.
