Is it normal to dream with elevators?

i have this dream since i can remember, no matter where i'm in my dream, i have to take an elevator several times.

sometimes is just an element of the dream, some others is the main theme of it.

is it normal?

    I dream about lifts a lot! For me, I'm scared of heights, I love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and I get in lifts about twenty times each working day so there's plenty of reasons I'd dream about them.

    However, there's also that idea that they are a conduit. A magic portal from A to B. The door closes on somewhere and opens on somewhere else. That's a powerful metaphor for any desired change in life.
