Is it normal to dream that you are a male, even though you are female

Ok I am a female who is married to the man of my dreams! But I've Always had dreams that a was a male. For example last night I dreamed that I was a male with a quite large penis and was having sex with a female, but in my dream I didn't know how to use it, I kept looking for my female parts they just weren't there! Is this normal?

And before someone says I wish that I was a male, or maybe I'm a lesbian, I'm not I can assure you! The closet thing to that is I surprised my husband with a threesome for his birthday ( don't judge me)

Sorry this kinda jumped around! But some insight would be nice......

    I wish people would stop posting "IIN that I dream this or that". Its a dream, anything can happen in a dream. Therefore its normal.

    I have lots of dreams like that. But then I also have sexual fantasies about being male when I'm awake, too. Though aside from the erotic aspects of thoughts of having the male parts, I'm happy being a girl (well, for most of the month, anyway!) and do have dreams and fantasies where I am female also. And I am bisexual, so in dreams and awake, whether I'm fancying myself as male or female that day, I may think of sex with either gender.

    Dreams are dreams. Once I dreamt that I was some little boy called James. I'm a girl. It was though I was that kid but I'm not at the same time.

    In all honesty you may be reading too much into your dreams.

    Just because you dream that you're a man does NOT mean you're a lesbian.

    Not unless you want it to be that.

    For the sexual dreams, I'd say... just lie back and enjoy them as kinky porn. Hell maybe you can try some kinky role play with your man if you want to share it with him.

    For non-sexual dreams, I'd say... enjoy it as a good story.

    In my dreams for instance, I'm usually me but sometimes I change genders back and fourth and even change characters of who I am in the story.

    Then again ... my dreams are like stories to me. and, just like when i read stories, the main character isn't always my gender.

    That's the weird part because in my dreams I have boobs but also have a penis. So it makes it quite awkward! And most people can interpret dreams to mean something more but theres nothing out there for me to compare this to
