It's been said that you can only dream of faces that you've seen, though you may not remember that you've seen them...however the science backing this claim up is a bit dodgy.

I can agree with that. I can only dream of things that I know how to do / done before. I've only shot a gun once when I was very young and couldn't even hold it up. So I can very rarely get a gun to work in my dreams, and when it does actually fire, it's weird.

I agree, I've done this before many times, but the creepiest part of it is when you actually find and, or see the person in real life. I think college's comment is somewhat, psychologically wise kind of true. I just want to add that you can also meet people in your dreams that you're going to meet in real life. It's a little against the theory, but as said it's not completely reliable/verified.

The truth is, when we dream we never actually never imagine new people. They are all people we have seen before. Some are people we know well and some can even be someone we passed in the street for a second and forget. The thing is our subconscious will remember and you'll dream about them but wake up without any memory of meeting them before
