Is it normal to dream of unstable elevators?

Every once in a while I'll have a dream where I get on an elevator which doesn't work right. I hold on for dear life while it goes up or down, and I feel like I'm going to fall off. This happens maybe once or twice a year.

I am not afraid of elevators, I use them all the time. I'm not afraid of airplanes either (the sensation in my dreams is kind of like when a plane hits turbulence).

    I'm not particularly afraid of elevators myself, I mean when I get on one I kind if always wonder if it'll break down but I ride them just fine. Anyways, I couldn't tell you how many times I've dreamed of being stuck on an elevator thats going a million miles up and down uncontrollably as if it was on a bungee cord lol. I mean skintights probably right about the meaning of it but by all means I am pretty sure this is normal. :P take care.

    According to dream theory and interpretation the ups and downs of the elevator symbolize your emotions. If the elevator continues to go up and down with out letting you off means you have let your emotions, or your situation, get out of control and must do something to stop it. Don't know if this helps at all.

    yes dude it's normal just a strange dream.., I for one hate elevators nit scared but they make me nurvis
