It's normal albeit unusual - it's called LUCID DREAMING. There are books on the subject, also wikipedia has a page and google brings up a few useful sites. I can do it too! It's fun, and if you practise u can improve, and self-analyse stuff, or revisit past scenes to make them better. Good luck!
