Is it normal to dream of killing everyone you know?

Is it normal that I have this one reoccurring dream where everyone I know is in a room, and they're not moving, but simply looking blank. As if they're dreaming standing up. And I kill whoever I want, with a hammer, and somewhere along the lines, blood is everywhere. Pooling all around me, and I am cleaning my face with it, pulling it through my hair, drinking it, spreading it out on the ground with my fingers like wings.. you get the drill.

I'm pretty sure these people can see what is happening regardless of their lack of moving in the dream, but I don't care. At all. Most are family members and people from my past. It's amazing how many faces I can remember in my dreams that I don't know the names of in real life.
