Is it normal to dream in chronological order?

My dreams are like reading a story. It picks up from where it left off the previous night and its really weird! Like a continuation I can't get out of. It doesn't happen as often as it used to but it still occurs pretty often.

That's pretty cool. Have you tried writing any of this stuff down?

    • I know it may seem cool but I find it really weird and creepy. I actually have written some of it down but I don't think they mean anything special.

        Same with my dreams.

This has happened to me. But sometimes it takes about a week for the dream to pick up where it last left off, and sometimes I even have alternate versions.

  • Yeah, you can lucid dream and really like that dream.

I think it would be really cool to have dreams that told a story. I have a lot of dreams with recurring locations and themes, but they don't tell a story or take place in chronological order.

My dreams are the same. Later bits of the dream always come after the things that happened earlier. My life is a bit like that too.

Hmm. If my mind or who knows what else was trying to tell me a story, and it wasn't a particularly horrifying one, I'd like to know what it is. But that's just me,
