Is it normal to dream about trying to rape a girl you like?

I had this dream a little while ago. I dreamed that I stalked a friend (who I was quite harshly rejected by in real life, but I'm still kinda obsessing over her), pushed her in to a back alley, shoved her back up against a lamp ready to sexually assult her or something, but then a cop showed up and pulled me off her and arrested me.

This dream really freaked me out. Is this normal? I don't want to hurt her in real life.

And I should add that I happen to know she is actually a survivor of a sexual assult in real life. (it wasn't me)

    That's a pretty disturbing dream... I've had some crazy dreams, but never anything like that, most rapists do what they do because of being rejected by women and having a general hatred for them, which sometimes leads on to killing them, no its not normal... You say you don't want to hurt her, but subconsciously it seems you do, it takes one bad decision to ruin someone's life man, get your self checked out, talk to a professional honestly.

    Perhaps your subconscious is trying to tell you do to leave her alone and move on, since any further advances would be "like rape" (thoroughly unwanted) and good will come of it.
