Is it normal to dream about other guys when i'm in a relationship?

I've been dating my boyfriend for over three years now. It's always been sort of a long distance relationship; we live about a half an hour apart. Now we're both freshman in college, about an hour apart, and I've been having dreams about other guys. They're not sex dreams, just dreams where the other guy is really sweet and as much as I love my boyfriend I choose the other one. My most recent dream, I actually cheated and went on dates with the other guy behind his back. He found out and broke up with me...but I wasn't that upset about it : /

Keep in mind I have never cheated on him in my life, these are only dreams...what do you think it means?

    Yes I dream about other women all the time...sometimes on purpose other times not. I am sure my wife thinks or dreams about other men too...maybe. Either way its natural, when I wake up I always try to act out my dreams with my wife though.

    i think it means you want closeness. and maybe your starting to not like the long distance thing anymore? your probaby craving a guy to devote his attention to you and its playing out in your mind. this doesnt nessisarly mean you dont want to be with your boyfriend anymore though. how often do you get to spend time wiht your boyfriend? maybe if you spend more time togethr things will be diff. im pretty sure that no matter what you do you will always dream about other guys sometimes though, that is normal.

    It could also mean you are feeling like moving on. But you would know.
