So, I once had this dream where I was sitting in the living room and I held my cat. Then out of nowhere, I broke his neck and there was a lot of blood. I sat there in blood with this dead cat in my hands, and then my mom entered the room. She was really shocked.
I think this is a pretty weird dream. Is it normal to dream things like this?
Why is this voted as ' not normal' ?
I've had way more messed up dreams than this.
For example, I've had dreams about incest and murder,
but that doesn't make me a serial killer does it?
Actually, dreams aren't always about certain things.
Tornadoe dreams means you're emotional,
incest dreams is a sign of 'making up' with that person.
Etc etc.
Let's not ignore the fact that the poster
stated that he/she thought it was weird.
It isn't like he/she said, " Oh, I really enjoyed the dream!"
So, normal.
I think the key question to ask yourself here is what does your cat mean to you? Love, companionship, responsibility, peace, happiness, patience, affection, beauty, loyalty, trust, a best friend, a blessing, etc.? Dreams are full of symbolism.
dude, I've had faaaaar more fucked up conscious fantasies than that, and i suspect so has most of the population of this planet. You are as normal as can be, and if someone tells you otherwise, they are either lying, or are incredibly unimaginative
You've obviously never broken someon...oh um...I mean somethings neck before, there's no blood.
It's like dismembering peoples. You would think there'd be blood shooting out all over the floor and walls, but if you leave the corpse like two days before you slice, all the blood congeals.

Yes I know there isn't blood when you break somethings neck :P It's a dream and dreams mostly aren't very realistic. And wow haha, not suspicious at all that you know the dismembering part :D
You know how people tie things to a body to sink it in a river, this is silly. It never works in the long run as even through the process of decay the bulk retains buoyancy and often floats back up.
DON'T tie anything to it, instead simply slice the stomach open. This prevents natural gas from building up, and stops the body from floating.
I've had stranger and more fucked up dreams than that. Though, I'm not entirely certain what your dream was trying to tell you.
I dreamt something very similar, and have dreamt some horrible, violent dreams before. I wouldn't look too deeply into it unless that's a genuine desire of yours.
