Is it normal to dream about dead family, every night (for 7 years)??

Lets see, my Dad died about 7 years ago, and I live on the opposite side of the USA (PA) than him (OR), I did manage to get back there for the funeral, viewing, etc, but after I came back home a week afterwards, I started having the same nightmares over and over. EVERY night, and still, even today, about my dad being still alive, but somewhere else, like his house is relocated and I just can't seem to find it, or vice versa, I find his house and him, and something else goes terribly wrong, but one things for sure, it is EVERY night. I am to the point that I have to take tylenol PM every night because if I don't I will remember my dreams too vividly and it scares me. Funny thing tho, I broke up with my fiancee 2 years ago, and since then, she has frequented the 'dad dream' as well, although not replaced, just more like an 'extra' in the movie. Does anyone else do t his or am I just really going way 'round the bend?

    Unresolved issues indeed.

Recurring dreams are way for the mind to try to tell you something important. Clearly, there are inner meanings and unresolved things that you have been consistently missing. These things are important which is why your mind keeps resending the message to you. When you are in the dream, don't treat it as being a mere dream. Treat it as being real because, it exists on the Astral Plane and look deeply into things. Don't be afraid to ask questions. If this still doesn't work, you can try a dream dictionary.

There is a thin line between a dream and a nightmare.

This is very normal, my friend. You are just having a dream that happens like every day. It's okay, I know a lot of people who had this situation. Just relax and ask yourself why you are dreaming about this. If you think this dream thing is going out of control, talk to a physiologist. I'm sure he/she will help you.
