Is it normal to do this when on my period?

okay, everytime I'm on my period, I hate wearing pads & tampons.. but I do wear pads during school.

but at home.. I don't. I just like put a tissue.. not IN my vagina, just kind of right on the outside of the hole I guess, and sometimes I'll keep getting tissues and wiping and then flushing them, instead of wearing pads/tampons.

is it normal?

    That's how the Victorians used to deal with it, except they used handkerchieves and then washed them for re-use. It's your body so I guess only you get to decide the way you deal with this.

    As long as you're not leaking into your underwear or pants. Whatever works best for you.

    I've only done that if it's a light day or if I don't have any tampons. Not very often though.
