Is it normal to do this to my peeps?

So every Easter I usually get some Peeps, which are those sugar coated marshmallow bunnies or other animals. However, I never eat them right away because I can't stand how squishy they are! So I end up taking them out of the package, so air can get to them, and leaving them out for a few weeks until they get harder and sort of chewy, and are no longer too soft. Is this normal, or do most people like their Peeps soft?

    Well when they get chewier, it kinda gives you a more realistic feeling of biting a chicks head off...or a small bunny >:)

    Try microwaving them it's awesome they turn into the stay puft marshmallow man.

    Honestly I don't eat Peeps, but I was watching a show about them and how theyre made, and the guy in charge said a lot of people do that

    Peeps aren't my thing but I know people that age their peeps until they are good and hard.
