Is it normal to do things without thinking?

I never, ever think. I have problems thinking before I act. Very capricious.

I can be asked to explain something, but then my thoughts just scatter.

  • I was and still am a lot like this. When I had just moved out I got a job working as a waiter at a pie shop in town. I considered myself to be nice enough most of the time on the job, but whenever a patron got cute with me I suddenly lost the ability to control what was coming out of my mouth.

I should have been fired for the things I would say to them. Luckily, my boss had a hard on for me and I don't think he would have fired me, even if I had set fire to the restaurant.

Anyway it's normal to me. There's a certain thrill that comes with doing what's dangerous and not thinking about the consequences therein.

The single biggest problem in America is doing things without thinking.

That causes people far and away more problems than thinking before acting.

When people are asked, after doing something stupid, what were you thinking?

They usually asnswer....I don't know.....when the truth of the matter is....they didn't think at all.

    they acted without thinking.

I somehow wish I was like you. I over think everything I do and it ruins alot fun for me. I noticed after I had a few drinks, somewhere on the inside, I just want to not think ever; like you do lol

  • I think before I act, I just don't care for the results.

Yup. I'm pretty impulsive about some things. I'll just do it or say it then realize hours or even days later. Oopsie.

That's called being impulsive and in the US, it seems that nobody really thinks before they act.

If they did, we probably would have very few problems. Although I believe adding some form of logic to the thought would be even better.

I wish I was like this. But not really. Thinking does you good. I wish I could help you and give you some advice that could help you, but I don't. I'm sure somebody else here will.
