Is it normal to do drugs like this.

I started smoking cigarettes and drinking when I was 13, and smoking pot at 14. When I was 15 I was hanging out with an older croud constantly smoking blunts and doing beer funnels or steel reserve 40's. My socialization revolves around smoking pot/drinking.
A little after I turned 18 my cat was sick and dying. Because I has just "become an adult" it was totally my decision what to do with my 4 year old-sick-dying cat. The stress of the situation and the recent introduction to cocaine caused me to go on a week long coke binge. My grandmother (who remarried to her high school sweetheart turned millionaire doctor) feeling bad had given me around $800 to pay for my cats medical bills. In maybe 2 weeks I had spent almost all of it on pot and cocaine. Afterwards I felt horrible about doing that to my grandmother/cats medical bill money.

I layed off the coke for a couple months and didn't do it unless offered for free, until I moved out of my parents house and into my own apartment with my connect right down the street.
Over the past few weeks I've noticed a pattern of weekly cocaine use when I get my paycheck. For the most part I'm good about paying rent/bills/etc. My weekly payday routine is to get around $20-$40 of cocaine, a 24-30 pack of bud light and smoke pot.

Is this life style normal?

Just ditch the coke, man. I've seen what it does to people and you're very lucky to still be in a position where you could stop. You won't be for long, so I'd quit doing it right now while you still can.

It's sadly normal but that doesn't make it a good thing...
It will also be considered normal when you lose your life or mind or whatever to drugs too but that aint great either is it?

In simple terms ....... GET A GRIP OF YOUR LIFE MAN BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! enjoy your money on nice things not drugs (although love the idea of the lager/beer)

Being a regular yet recreational cocaine user I find this pretty dangerous. I admit cocaine is awesome and relatively harmless compared to other hard-drugs. The only pitfall associated with this particular substance is the fact that because of this it can easily turn into a daily habit even though it is not physiologically addicting.

Going on a coke binge right after discovering its effects is not uncommon, but thefact that you are currently regularly setting aside a specific amount of money especially for cocaine is a sign that you are too involved with this drug, and that is just dangerous. Try to keep your usage related to parties instead of daily activities.

Normal, seeing as (sadly) a lot of people use drugs. Not normal in the context that it's not good for your body in the long term and even in the short term.
