Is it normal to dislike your nieces/nephews some times?

My niece is 7 and she is such a brat. I know it sounds messed up but she is so spoiled and annoying at times. Then other times, she's great.

Some times I cannot stand her and I feel bad. I know she's just a kid but I'm worried that she'll grow up to be the same disrespectful, temperamental, and rude adult.

Again, I know this is pretty messed up to say, so, Is it normal?

what should I do? I'm not sure an uncle should "discipline" his siblings kids and I don't want to offend anyone by saying "hey, your kid is out of fucking control!". :\

It's funny you ask this. I often wonder the same thing. I'm living with my sister and three nephews ranging from seven months to six years. They can drive me up a fucking wall but I love them like they are my own. What I do is take a step back when they start pissing you off and ask them nicely to stop and try to act as a mature respectful person, the kids will see that, probably not listen but that's when the parent should step up to the plate and resolve the problem right away.
Kids might act as monsters while they young but that's why theyre called kids. Just try to act more as they're friend. They start trusting you, and you recieve more respect.

Oh yes. I just got back from my sister's house and I feel half crazed. Her kids are always yelling, fighting, jumping on furniture, throwing shit etc.... and if I say anything she gets pissy with me. I do not have a solution for you, but I know where you are coming from.
