Is it normal to dislike kissing in movies?
I cringe when I see actors kissing in a movie especially if they are getting really passionate. Do others feel the same way?

Eww. That picture is gross!!! Based solely on that kiss, I'd have to agree with you.
It makes me feel very awkward. It's like, if this was the real world I wouldn't walk right up close to a kissing couple and stare at them trying to get a good view and cheering them on, would I? Yet somehow showing an intense, awkwardly long close-up of two fake people pushing their faces together without a hint of genuine passion on a massive screen on which you can see nothing else but their two tongues sliding all over each other is meant to make me feel anything but pervy. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the on-screen kiss.
I also dislike it. I really dislike when they also play the sound of the kiss very loud. It makes me vomit 0:) I mean, we -normal humans- don't make this stupid sound.
Awe it looks like cannibalism.... nasty.
It sometimes can be disturbing though, especially kissing like that picture. Blah.... that just gives me chills.
Sometimes. It depends on the story line, the actors, the genre etc. They can be extremely boring and pointless.
That picture made me laugh. He is sucking her face off.
No; but romanctic scenes are annoying. They take up too much space in the movie and they bore me to tears.
It depends on the kiss. That pic is jus weird. Who does that? He's working up to the nose.
A nice, tasteful, short kiss -can even have tongue if I don't see the tongue- can be a real heart-stopper, though.
It's awkward how they often crowbar it in, like they feel obligated to have a makeout scene. I often find sex and makeout scenes in horror movies annoying, because they rarely advance the plot or tell us much about the characters. I'm just sitting there, going "WHY ARE YOU SHOWING ME THIS? WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE EVEN HAVING SEX IN A CLOSED RESTAURANT?"
I go so far as to shield my eyes and sometimes my ears. It's just really akward both alone and while watching it with other people.
Kissing and sex scenes in general are a complete waste of time in my opinion. Why can't they just allude to it with them going into the room and shutting the door? It's awkward and boring.
You know what it even more awkward. Your mom putting on a pro gay movie like "But Im a cheerleader" and they have a gay sex scene. I mean it is bad watching sex in a regular movie but adding that fact makes you feel like you are having gay sex in front of your family and that is just awkward.
If it seems they're trying to eat other's face, then yes it's disturbing. But otherwise no.
It really depends, some kissing *especially lesbian flicks* kinda get me hot, but if its that duckface kissing or ficshy and all over like licking of the face I get a lil sick..idk it just depends on the scene..hence my vote of sometimes...where's Perioidically btw, I prefer that word by far LoLz. =*-*=
The two in the photo have no chemistry!
It's normal, but for me it depends on the movie. I do hate how with most films the kissing part seems "unnatural" like with the curious close-ups and whatnot.
