Is it normal to dislike jewelry?

I don't like jewelry much because it's useless. It literally has no use other than to cost money and look pretty. It's like a Daddy-money girl. Literally no useful purpose.

I don't have any opinions or anything of people that wear it and I have a few pieces myself in my feeble attempts to be more stylish, but I just don't care for jewelry because they can't be driven, smoked, eaten, used etc. They're literally useless unless you're McGyver.

I don't like machine made jewelry either. Most of my jewelry is handmade. I like it simple.

Different people have diverse likes and dislikes. Well, to me, i'd like to say I am fine to most kinds of jewelry, not like someone who may be allergic to matel jewelry, I am good with those jewelry. But i have to say that I like diamonds best.

I think you're going to make someone very happy one day. Or sad when they give you a necklace for Christmas and you turn up your snobby nose and sneer: "I only like MANMADE jewelry"

'Jewelry' looks so weird to me. Jewellery on the other hand :P (language difference)

I'm not that bothered about jewellery on girls. In my opinion, understated is always better. Big, shiny, sparkly stuff looks garish and tacky to me.

i think jewelry is pointless and doesn't do anything for a girl. A girl with jewelry isn't going to look any more attractive than one without, in fact, i think piercings, bracelets, and big necklaces are tacky and less attractive.

I feel you OP! I like raw jewelry much better than machined.

I used to like wearing jewelry until it got too expensive replacing them. I used to get too drunk and lose my earrings every weekend or break links off of my chain or bracelet. The last jewelry I owned, my girlfriend had possession of it and then we broke up. I hated her enough to never even want it back because she touched it.

I'm weird, then... I lean more towards the blinky, fake end of the jewellery spectrum.

For me, it can be one of three types
*Shiny, with silver and gemstones of some kind
*Chunky and masculine
*Handmade as long as it isn't too ostentatious

I don't really care for jewelry myself unless it's Alchemy. I won't deny it. I love Alchemy.

Huge waste of money, easy way to spot over-vain people.

Unusual unique handmade earrings can look very cool. But keep the other jewelry to a minimum.

I'm not a huge fan of bling. Some women go sooo overboard with it. I really dislike it when men wear jewelry. I just think its looks silly, but I look silly too so it doesn't matter what I think.
