Is it normal to dislike door knockers?

I got woken up early when two men knocked loudly on my front door. They wanted to sell me something. I am still mad especially when I have a sign near my door.

    We get door-to-door salespeople almost every day. Sometimes two or three in one day. Mostly club reps, selling tickets to nightclubs. Most of them are second year students, and they're always really annoying.
