Is it normal to dislike being questioned but love asking them?

Well I don't like people asking questions, but I love asking others. It's like I don't want them to know much about me, but I want to know a lot about them. If they ask me something, I'll give a short answer and try to change the subject, but then when I ask questions, they just flow. Normal? :S

However if you learn something about someone else and you get to the point where you feel like because they are questioning your life that you will be somewhat judged or attacked by the things that you have done in your life

Yes and no on the normalsy you don't want your personal life exposed but it seems to me like you have some major trust issues and that's normal

It sounds pretty much normal to me. I don't feel the same way, but I do see how one could get that feeling.

It really depends on the person. Casual acquaintances or friends of friends won't receive many questions from me unless I'm truly interested in them. However, when I want to keep a friend's attention, I make it a point to do 80% of the listening and 20% of the talking, when most of that 20% is spent asking questions. You can learn quite a bit about a person that way.
