Is it normal to dislike alcohol with food?

Alcohol with food I don't understand the appeal. Choosing a wine to go with food is lost on me. Do others feel this too?

    I hear ya. I'll have a beer with a meal occasionally but I prefer my booze foodless.

    I don't drink so I wouldn't know. I love soda though.

    Chinese mixes drinking wine and business , job...it is unloyal to refuse drink when the boss tell you to drink ... ...白酒

    No. Specially when you got a good meal it's very normal to have a glass of alcohol next to it.

    Of course, you don't have to if you don't want to, but why would you want to do that?
