Is it normal to discriminate against bugs?

SO the other night when i was in the bathroom, i noticed that there was bug on the side bench struggling because it had been flipped onto it's back. Believing that i would receive good karma if i were to save this bug, i attempted to flip it over without physically touching it myself- so i used a pair of scissors. Upon my attempt, i noticed that it was fluttering it's wings and so, afraid that if i did flip it over it would fly into me, i didn't save it. is it normal to discriminate against bugs with wings?

Winged bugs have the same god-given rights as all other bugs! Shame on you for abandoning that poor bug just because it had wings! Shame!

But seriously, IT'S A BUG. It's not going to feel offended if you don't help it. When other bugs find it's corpse, they won't get a two-inch casket and have a bug funeral, they'll eat it.

Bugs that can fly are scarier than those that can't. It's a lot harder to get away from a bug that is flying towards your face, taunting you with its powers of flight. Like those flying cockroaches, they are the worst.

I think you're fine; you just don't want a bug flying into you. Truth be told, though, you're just a scardy cat. Having a roach fly into you won't be the cause of your death.

Clean your bathroom! ha, all jokes aside. No its not abnormal as such, I tend to stay away from fast moving bugs or bugs that can fly simply because I don't want them to crawl up me or fly into me, but mind you. I've killed many bugs in my time and your karma searching method kind of makes me feel bad. Damn you! :)

Oh everyone knows that bug-mushing is the main source of bad karma

Don't be afraid of bugs! They're really cool and interesting to learn about, most of them won't/can't harm you and they're like a trillionth of the size of you! I've never understood the fear of bugs...
