Is it normal to develop a sexual attraction to a fictional character?

I'm currently watching Breaking Bad and have developed an attraction to the character of Gustavo Fring. I can't get him off my mind and always look forward to the next episode to see how the character develops.

Is this normal?

Dang, I know that now. I binge watched it. :( Fingers crossed for a Gus Fring spin-off in addition to the upcoming Better Call Saul.

It's perfectly normal, I had a crush on a cartoon growing up, Harvey from Sabrina and even now I go nuts thinking about Matt Bomer who stars in White collar. I have plenty of TV crushes its absurd.

I think it's a pretty sad thing. You should find a real life person to crush on, someone who might actually reciprocate.

Mine are... not real people. They can't be all like, "I'M A REAL BOY!"

    *sigh*

More normal than I thought based on the title. At least Gus is an actual human.

Definitely normal if you're talking about a crush. I've heard about sexual attraction to a character, but not as often. It could be one of those things that people just don't really mention lol. It's harmless, as long as you don't overly obsess and then get depressed when thinking about the fact that they're not real.
