I hate anything popular and when something I like becomes popular I go nuts. Anytime I do that activity again I am reminded of how there are so many other people doing the same thing.

    Don't worry about what others like. I can understand how you don't want to just follow the crowd, although I'd say it's even cooler to not even let THAT bother you.. Like what you like and don't care about if it's popular or not.

    Yep! Did it with snowboarding in the 90s...the little buggers with attitudes of how cool they were was a real turn off.
