Is it normal to desperately want to try p90x?
I saw it couple of times, and it looks awesome, but then again... it looks like such a scam. I really want to try it though?

I first did Insanity and now I have moved on to P90X. Like some people said, DIET is key. When I was doing Insanity I did not follow the suggested diet. As a result, I did not lose a lot of weight, however, I did build muscle, endurance, balance, and stamina. I have been sticking to the diet for P90X and I have also been adding extra work outs like hiking and a cpl of days of cardio at the gym. If I stick to it, there is no reason why I shouldn't see great results. Whatever you decide to do, EAT HEALTHY! The only scams out there are the people who are trying to sale you diet pills. It's hard for an exercise program to be a scam if you diet and do the exercises correctly. Don't expect to look like the people on the ads, only expect to look like a better version of yourself. Good luck.
P90X is deffinitely worth the money. Everything, including workout schedules for different regemines are laid out for you. And so is the dieting. It's very easy to get started because all of the prep work is done for you. All you have to do is get up and do that workout every day. Trust me. So worth it.
its awesome if you have the dedication and will to do it. very good system if you want it to be. its all up to you when doing these things. its a life change not a quick fix. so if you decide to do it then you have to fully committed or you'll end up failing.
the problem most of the time is not in the system in itself.
It's usually one of 3 things:
Bad form (not learning how to properly do the exercises which in turn hurts you and then you either try to keep going till you really hurt yourself and can't do it for a while or just give up) so never try to do something unless you are sure how to do it properly (for example running most people get injured because of bad form)
Dieting and either eat too little and put the body in starvation mode or not eating the right stuff or at the right timing once again making exercise harder then it needs to be
And the biggest of it all the hardness to keep doing it when you don't feel like it. and that is what stops about 90% of people trying to do it.
So yeah the system may or may not be really good but you have to really commit yourself to actually doing it if you are to succeed .
I have the vids. It's intense. It's just like any other workout though, you get out of it what you put into it. It's EXPENSIVE to buy, I managed to get mine from a friend. Try to find it used or free. There's tons of unpaid people showing their results on youtube.
for what its worth, it worked for me. Though, this site is free and works better:
