Okay so in High school I talked to this girl who was and is really attractive, and very cool. She had a thing for me and I guess I did too, but I never went through with anything because when she texted me, she'd write in all capitals and it would drive me insane....normal? Understandable?
I guess it would be normal to push away a girl who was really attractive, and very cool away because of something as petty and unimportant as that. Never mind that if you both spoke the same language it might be possible to ask her to stop. But hey, it certainly avoids any possibility that you two could hook up and become friends, or possibly more, right?
I get turned off to someone if they don't like animals. There's a bunch of little things like that which I find important in a partner.
I could imagine something small that someone does that's irritating you can make you get turned off from wanting to be with that person that constantly does the small thing that irritates you.
