Is it normal to delete comments before the story in moderated?

i have noticed one user who deletes comments on his / her stories before they are moderated. i think this takes away the Gold Members rights to comment on stories (paying money to view and comment on stories before they are moderated). i have a gripe with this because i have paid to comment on stories but this one person keeps deleting the comments. is it normal that i dont think comments should be allowed to be deleted until the story has been moderated? does this bother any other Gold Members?

    Yup, bothers me. Seems there's nothing about this website this member likes. Maybe it's time for him/her to move on to greener pastures and leaves us lowly folk to play with each other.

            Are you really a dork or not? I find myself disbelieving the very nature of your said dorkness unless it was you yourself fostering this disbelief through no unmitigated fault of your own. So I am to not disbelieve this dorkness or should I henceforth refer to you as a "dork" ?

            She wasn't talking about you, or the person who made this post (I'm assuming it's you). She's referring to the member that is deleting posts yo.

            Unless you are the dork that is deleting the comments on your unmoderated posts.

              Yes, I am the one deleting the Comments from my Pre-Moderated Posts.

              Now before you cast Judgment let me explain-

              My Threads are legitimate questions but when Trolls start calling me Rude Names and posting off topic it sets the tone for debate and pretty much bombs my Threads.

              Hence I delete the Responses -until the Thread gets released- at which point they can say whatever they want.

    It has not happened to me before. Personally, I think deleting comments because you do not agree with them or because they offend you (as oppossed to being rude and off-topic) is just another form of censorship and I don't quite believe in censorship amongst adults. If you want decency, keep company with decent people. Don't come on the internet thinking that you're never going to get offended. Hell, don't walk outside thinking that you're never going to get offended.

    If you want everyone to agree with you and tell you what you want to hear, you're better off just talking to your friends about your problems rather than posting them on the interweb. I didn't make the rules.

    Maybe the poster is afraid of what others will think of them? I don't know, but I just say what I feel at that time, and that can be positive or negative depending on mood. Maybe they're concerned about being judged.

    Hey, it's his post, so he can do whatever he want with it, you may not approve, but that just means that you find other stories where your comment won't be deleted.
