Is it normal to daydream about being someone else?

I always daydream about being a perfect person. Being insanely pretty, rich and irresistible.
And I always daydream that person as me in various different situations.

It's like the only daydream I ever have. I have really bad self esteem in real life.

Is this normal? Should I work on changing it?

It's normal to dream of better things, just don't let the daydreams get in the way of achieving them!

Lol, I only ever dream about being a better version of myself, not a different person altogether!

I day dream about how if things went differently in the past and how in a ideal world of how I would turn out.

Yes it is, I daydream all the time, it helps me to actually enjoy myself on a boring day, I think about different fantasy worlds and my part in them, all the little details. It's nice to be able to have control on an imaginary life.

I think it's normal to have both daydreams and bad self esteem, but I'd only try to change the latter.
I pity people who ran out of dreams.

    Make it happen.
Make an effort to make your dreams come true. Nothing is impossible.
