Is it normal to date your best friend's ex-girlfriend?

Hi, I want to know what your opinion is on this matter. Is it normal to date your best friend's ex-girlfriend within a month of them breaking up? I think it is justified because I am a better man for her. I feel that I saved her because I treat her better, as a Southern Gentleman should. Also, I drive a red convertible sports car and a large, 40 inch flat screen TV. I believe that this will make her happy and justifies it.

    40 inch right whats the top speed on one of them? sorry for my ignorance its just i only drive a 26 inch. Ps you sound like a nob jockey as well and probably would be doing this girl a favour if you DIDN'T date her.
