Is it normal to date someone almost 2 feet taller than me?

There's this guy on my college campus who's been trying to get me to go out with him for the past month. He's very handsome and very muscular, but he's 7 foot and I am 5 foot 2. He's been very kind, a little cocky, but very respectful, and he has a lot of the same interests as me.

I've been kind of nervous to go out with him because of the size difference, which sounds dumb, but it's very significant. He isn't the awkward lanky tall that most super tall guys look like, he's filled out. I'm very petite and thin.

I've been in a sketchy relationship in the past so I'm already pretty wary and paranoid about dating, so someone who could overpower me in 3 seconds makes me a little unnecessarily nervous.

Also I've seen his package (Via a spread nude) and there's no way I will be able to fit that thing in me, so I'm also worried about compatibility.

Sounds like you're compatible. Might as well try it, just take it slow and have some light dates, nobody is saying this has to be a full-blown relationship from day one. He might surprise you.

Having a tall guy and a short girl isn't really awkward anyway, not as awkward as when the man is shorter than the woman.

I mean, if you like him, then go for it.

If he makes you feel uncomfortable or it doesn't feel right for whatever reason, then don't go for it.

    Go with your gut feeling.
