Is it normal to date more than one girl while still being single?

I met a girl online about 4 weeks ago and we went out on our first date last weekend. We text every day and we have a lot in common. The only problem is that she lives pretty far away (about 45 minutes from my house).

Just a couple days ago, I got a message from another girl on the same website who is interested in me. She gave me her number and facebook profile. She lives about 30 minutes away. I read her dating profile and it is very similar to mine. On one hand I would like to talk to this girl to get to know her more. On the other hand, I would feel bad knowing I'm talking to 2 girls at the same time. I already feel close to the first girl, but something tells me that I would like this other girl as well.

My gut says to stick with the first girl, but I don't know what to do. I'm still single and did not have sex with the first girl yet. Should I talk to this one girl to see if I like her or should I tell her I'm already talking regularly to another girl?

Just an FYI, we are all in the 19-21 year-old range.

Normal. That's why it's called dating. Just be considerate enough to let the girls know they're not the only one.

Honestly, since nothing happened with the first girl I think it's alright. But yeah, if something happens with one of them, you have to be honest and tell the other one about it.

      • She was probably a 49 year old man who lives in his moms basement.
