I decided to go back to school at age 30. I recently met a cute girl and we have been texting each other. I look young for my age but I am concerned about the age difference.
People, please dont over use the word pedo and use it out of context. To be a pedophile is to be attracted to prepubecent children. She's 19 and most likly has gone through puberty. Depending on where you live the legal age of consent will determan if someone can consent to having sex. Breaking that law dose not pass you as being a pedophile unless the sexual act was with a prepubesent child. You're all intitled to you're opnions but declairing someone a pedophile when indeed they are not. Just makes you a liar and look silly.
Thirteen years isnt alot. My mum was something like ten to twelve years younger than my dad and they were excepted in a church. If you like her and she likes you, whats wrong with that? Even if you just want to have sex with her its ok if the law concerning age of concent aloue it. People may frown apone it and acuse you of things but legaly you're safe to go ahead and go out with her... or atleast here you would be. Since you're just concernd about age "differnce" im guessing she is legal age. Go for it.
Too young. She's not even 21. If she were 21, it would be okay, but as a teenager it's just now socially accepted at least not where I live.

This is fine. I have a friend whose parents have an age difference almost exactly the same as this one. Everyone in his family is fine and happy just like anybody else.
If she came on to you then whatever, just imagine how her parents feel though. I once dated a woman who was 8 years older than me I was 18 and it was weird, I have decided now some time later that it was not normal. I would rather have just fucked her and been done with her.

Our age difference sometimes sucks for the different stages of life we come to but we work it out.
22 and 30 would seem a little better.. but 30 and 19 is still a relatively sensitive area (thinks dirty thoughts unwillingly).
If I were her I'd be embarrassed to be seen with u or introduce to my rents. But other than that I guess it's ok. Age is just a number so they say

I think it depends. I know a happily married couple with a 20-year age difference, so it's not necessarily a bad thing, but then again they were already well into adulthood when they met. If you were just perving around going "ohman I'm gonna go back to school and get me some hot 19-year-old ass" I would say no, but if you just happen to really like her then it's normal. The thing to watch out for is her maturity level--she is very much at a different place in life from you right now, she is just becoming an adult and she might have very different priorities than you do.
If you do go out with her, prepare to have people look down on you like some of the commentators above.

Hmmm that does look kinda gross when u read it but.... I was 20 when I met my husband he was 33.... We have been together 3 years and are still very happy!... So I guess it really depends on the people it prolly at least stick to 20+ .... anything ending with -teen just sound perverted
While there is certainly an age difference between the two of you, calling you a pedophile is hardly fitting in this situation. Some of the posts on here are quite absurd, and misinformed at best.
If the two of you get along, and you feel you can maintain a healthy and happy relationship, then by all means go for it. You won't know until you try. I'm sure the two of you will have your differences, with regards to music, movies, friday-night activities, etc. However, I can't imagine the two of you wouldn't be able to find some kind of middle ground.
There a plenty of girls in their late teens and early 20s looking for guys in their 30s, largely because men in their 30s have a stronger grasp on life, and are more willing to settle down. Women also mature faster than men on an intellectual level (many of them, anyway).
She's 19, it's legal, go for it. You are still in your early thirties so you can still get it up. However like mtnw says the age difference will become a problem as you both get older, but you are just dating and it'll most likely be one of those early "practice" relationships for her as she is not likely to want to get married any time soon. I don't think your a Pedophile at all... but I do think looking that young and being that young in mindset are different. You may look young but what are the two of you gonna talk about or is it purely physical? She wont really relate unless you have the problems and mentality of a 19 year old. Sure you can be a mature influence, but honestly are you gonna get bored with that after a while when all she can offer is skin deep. i hope she is mature because otherwise i don't think it's a great idea, but who knows... it works with tons of guys and girls, but i think they have a certain understanding, if you know what I mean. Once I reached 22 years old I told myself no more teens and I have stuck by that. You should too. Stick with 20 . I know you say she is 19 and that's only one year away but still I say you should look for women in there 20s or older. preferably mid 20s or older.
