I really don't have any long lasting friendships. Over the years, I've always seemed to grow apart from people whether it's because I've changed or they've changed. Is it normal for people to just not have lasting friendships?

    I'm not sure you understand the meaning of the word friend. We all have many acquaintances, people who come and go through our lives, but most of us have very few true friends over a lifetime. When you finally make a friend, I think you'll understand the difference.
