a few nights ago, my friend (we are both straight men) came over to spend the night and when we decided to go to bed he basically thew himself on me, i woke in the middle of the night with his arm around me, then fell asleep, then a few hours later i woke to his legs wrapped around mine. by then, i decided i really actually liked this sort of "cuddling" and put my arm around him and came up closer to him., then fell asleep in this position, in the morning we woke about the same time, somehow now sharing a pillow, and just laid there with our arms around each other, not saying a word.after about half an hour of that we got up and ate breakfast and talked like nothing happened. it was weird at first because we have never done anything like this before. And now i can't wit till next time he comes over to do this again! Is this normal?

I find it sad that guys are forbidden from showing affection to each other. Females can do something and it's not lesbian but gods forbid guys do the same

I am a girl, by the way, and I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I've seen my boyfriend give his best mate more passionate hugs than he's ever given me, and I genuinely don't care. Might be because I'm Welsh, though. We tend to be weird.

Wow, sounds pretty gay, the next time he "spends the night" with you make sure at least you go to bed naked and see what his reaction is, if its what I think it will be just "cuddling" isnt the only thing that will be going on.

I don't know if it's normal, but I certainly see nothing wrong with it. You're just confident enough and open minded enough in yourselves to show affection.
It also sounds perfectly ok to have liked it. The idea of letting down your guard and to open yourself up to a good friend without worries about how you look is probably a really big relief in some sort of way.
