Is it normal to cry for someone you truly love over and over again?

There is someone who I really love, and her name is Carla. at first I had just crushes on her, but now I really have developed a true love for her. She knows about it, and doesn't want to be anything more than just best friends. She and I are friends, but today she kinda betrayed me, and I was originally mad about it. Now I can't stop crying about her, for some reason, I really can't stop. I almost never cry, and when I do, it is usually silent, and it is short, and I never cry about it again. Carla is someone who I really love, and when I cry about her, she is like a sword to my heart. She is nice to me, and is very sweet, but she sometimes gives attention to people ( I think) just for fun. I am not sure 100% about who she is, really. I need help here, please. Also, I would like help to win her heart, as she is with someone else now.

if she doesn't see you that way because of your looks than (pardon my language) fuck that bitch you sound like a great person and she doesn't deserve you. You could try working out more or following the code of chivalry what i'll send you a link to at the end of this comment. anyway i know how you feel man just keep trying and you might prevail and i wish you the best of luck

Move on and leave her alone. You can't win her heart, I'm sorry but she doesn't see you in that way.

I agree your going to have to move on and forget about her or just accept her as a friend.

Normal is a tough thing to quantify...In this situation, I would say that it probably isn't normal to cry whenever you think of the person. That being said, emotions are incredibly tricky; in this case I would say work on distancing yourself from the person. It's going to suck, but eventually you have to make a choice about being happy or keeping that level of closeness. Hope that helps.

Thing is, my Dad abandoned me before I was born, so... I kinda will run into a dead end right there.
