Is it normal to cry and start hitting things when i'm frustrated?

I do a lot of activities. I dance ( hip hop, ballet, and jazz ), figure skate, play piano, write stories, sketch, work for the school yearbook, gymnastics, and others. And these activities are HARD if you are not as gifted or flexible or imaginative. I am not good at all. I work at it, and I get frustrated and for some reason, I can't hold myself back from crying and punching the wall. In jazz, I couldn't get this move called a barrel jump and i started crying. I looked like an idiot. And when people try to calm me and tell me that I'm good, I cry harder. Is this normal?
PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Counseling may help you start new coping habits. A healthy dose of confidence and self-esteem goes a long way, too. People usually aren't as inclined to cry if they don't feel so critical towards themselves.
