I had a dream where I had a baby small enough to fit in my hand, but it was completely healthy. I went to the market with it and it started choking and died!! I woke up and bawled my eyes out, even though I have no kids.
Totally normal!
My nightmares include things that you people would see as something happy. In my nightmares I experience love, happyness and am thought free but then I wake up and realise how pathetic the nightmare was and have to go on the whole day feeling pathetic.
I think it's unusual. I'm usually extremely relieved when waking up from a bad dream and disappointed when it was a great one.
IMO emotions felt in dreams can be very intense and powerful, as your rational part is not present to make sense of them or put them into perspective. I guess you just get shaken up from the experience.
Sometimes I have dreams of my boyfriend cheating , and wake up super angry and take it out on him. There's been a time where I hit him and dry humped him really hard cause I was that mad..
