Is it normal to cry after saying "i love you."?

So today my boyfriend and I were just laying in his bed, cuddled up next to each other. He looked at me and said, "I really, really like you, K____." Then, I just decided to go for it and said "I love you." He said it back and we kissed but in the middle of it I just started to cry really hard and a lot, but I have no idea why. What do you think it means?

    D'aw.
I can't say whether or not it's normal, but it certainly is sweet.

It was an emotional release. Sometimes intense feelings spill out your eyes. I bet it felt really good.

It's normal and just means you said "I love you" at the right time. Good for you two and I hope he knows what those three words meant to you.

Of course. It's just the emotion of the situation. Saying it for the first time is always a bit emotional.
