Is it normal to crush on girls of very different age groups?

I'm 23, and before anyone calls me a pervert or something, I just want to say I've known both of these girls for a long time. One of them is 31, and I've known her for about 3 years. I've had a crush on her probably since about a month after I met her. The other girl is 15, I've known her for about 4 years but only started feeling attracted to her about a year ago. And it's not just a sexual attraction because although they're both very pretty I just have come to really like them both as people.
Obviously I would have to wait a few years before I could even approach the younger girl even though I think she likes me too from her body language and such. The older girl I'm just straight up nervous about approaching her because I'm worried she might not be interested in dating a younger guy and I don't want to make our friendship awkward.
I guess what I want to know is wether it's normal to be attracted to two different girls, both of whom are 8 years age difference from me but in opposite directions. :-S

Also want to point out that the younger girl started maturing physically before emotionally, but that I still wasn't attracted to her until recently when she started being more talkative and friendly.
