Is it normal to cringe at comedy films/shows?

This mostly relates to films or shows where the main cast/character is humiliated as the running gag. I find it hard to enjoy them cause of this.
To be honest, I laugh at the weirdest and unfunniest stuff.

    Yeah that's normal. What isn't normal however is your constant vying for aproval from people you don't know.

    I suppose it’s normal to not like watching people be humiliated but I find that shit hilarious. Everyone has their own tastes I guess.

    I felt this way about Modern Family. I actually read something that described that show as "makes you belly laugh" and I was like, I've never even grinned or chuckled at that show, much less belly laughed. Lol. I'm not even sure how that show got so popular, it was not entertaining at all.

    Ye, I feel you. I have to watch stuff like the Inbetweenersin parts. The cringe gets overwhelming.
