Is it normal to crave organic food more than processed food

In the last three years, I have transition more to eating organic food. I noticed my body seems to crave it more as I eat it more often. I look at the ingredients of all my food to check for unusual ingredients and I seldom eat processed food as much. I notice when I eat processed food, I don't even enjoy the taste anymore as I used to. I am wondering if this is m taste buds becoming accustomed to organic food or if it is an actual craving?

Processed food makes my body feel bad and, for whatever reason, makes me want to eat processed food again. It's a horrible cycle, a bit like a drug with a nasty comedown.

Perhaps eating natural food inspires a kind of feeling of wellness which is self-promoting. Either way, it's a good thing.

Same here. For me, honeybuns are toxic and regular soda is my energy shot.

Christ, I love honey buns. But they're like crack. And I put butter on the damn things too.

Oh God! Peanut butter and honey! I actually bake my own peanut butter bread (it's as good as it sounds) and put honey on it. It's a nice little bit of role reversal over peanut butter on a honey bun. :D

This is as it should be. Your body wasn't designed to breakdown processed foods. Natural/organic foods also have more nutritional value and fewer empty calories. Eating healthier provides a number of benefis such as clearer skin, more energy, easier to fall asleep and stay asleep, better quality of sleep, weight loss an a number of other positive side affects. It's hard to understand why more people don't switch back over to organic an unprocessed foods.

A lot of processed food makes me vomit. So I eat whole food, mostly organic. My body craves it and thanks me for it by being healthy and full of energy.

You lucky bastard! I'm trying to switch to organic food. But junk food is pretty addictive, and organic food is pricey. Of course, health costs money. What good thing doesn't cost money these days...?
